The Evangelical church, initially a Roman basilica, subsequently turned into a hall-church (with a semi-circular altar) of small dimensions stands out by its walls (both those of the sanctuary and of the first precincts with a huge 6-floor tower in the west, erected in 1494). The wall of the first precincts is well preserved and features 4 towers, one over the entrance and two bastions close to each other. Communication between them was made on a covered path that provided shelter during battles.
Inside the church a capital with moldings is still standing which comes, together with the triumphal arch, from the Roman church, justifying its dating to the early 13th century
